OK, I agreed to meet John again at the pep. Gambling here is a disaster lately. Then again, I have NEVER gotten much out of the place. Yet, I still like it somewhat (at least the casino portion).

But, I unwittingly went there in shorts and t-shirt. I literally FROZE my petunias. I moved all over looking for both a hot machine and a hot seat. Finally I went to the FIRESIDE lounge figuring the roaring fireplace would do the job. Guess what? Wrong.... It was WARM in there. I loved it. Lost a bit at the VP bar but had a dynamite drink. A CHOCOLATE BANANA. I have no idea what is in it but it was delicious and very filling. I did notice that the bartender poured Kahlua over the whipped cream on the top.

It came in a sissy glass though with fruit (what, no umbrella?) on top.

Actually (I may have mentioned this already) John and I did get a little bit of play out of the MIB penny machine. They had a second version of the game there that I had never seen I liked it much better than the original.

Just 5 days till I depart to visit my money in Reno. Hope they still have it cause I plan to get some of it back. If not, I'll console myself (and my bride) with a couple of those delicious Chocolate Banana.

Some guys just back from the Caribbean overheard my order and proceeded to give the bartender the recipe for a Chocolate Monkey.

You know what, my brain is fuzzy (kinda like John's vision when he saw JD and I together at the Siena). I may have these names reversed.
Ah, c'est la vie (or whatever).
