This game was recently introduced at Harrah's in Reno. It looks interesting.
The player places 3 bets and gets 6 cards, which he must divide into 3 groups of 2 hole cards each. The dealer then gets 6 cards, from which he selects 2 hole cards. This is where the house gets it's advantage, because he can pick the 2 strongest hole cards, while the player is forced to play all 6 of his in 3 hands. Next, 5 community cards are dealt. The dealer then plays his strongest poker hand against each of the player's hands, best poker hand wins. There is also a side bet for certain hands (I think 3 of a kind and up). Not sure if the player has the option to surrender a bad draw.
I looked for it on wizard of odds but couldn't find it. I guess the strategy is to pick the strongest looking combinations of hole cards and hope for a good draw. |
