Peg's Glorified Ham & Eggs may be the best breakfast restaurant downtown, on S. Sierra across the river from the main casino district. There are reviews on Trip Advisor:

We prefer Big Ed's Alley Inn on East 4th. It also is reviewed. Like one of them says, it is a dive bar atmosphere but the food is good.
