Eldorado has removed its MindPlay tables from the real single decks, leaving the despicable contraptions on the 6 to 5 ripoff tables. No harm done by leaving the devices on the 6 to 5 garbage games.

Grand Sierra management has finally come to its senses and restored the $25 minimum single deck table, which was removed over a year ago. I whined about the removal in the link below:

Is it my imagination or are there more double deck games around Reno lately? I've noticed them at Peppermill and Eldorado for sure, where I don't recall seeing them previously. The extra deck increases the house advantage somewhat, but they allow doubling on any original cards and pay an honest 3:2 blackjack which help out the player.

The only way Reno can compete is to get the games favorable for the player. It will be worth it to drive over the hill, or to come to Reno instead of the hassles of Vegas.

Of course, casinos must be willing to gamble a bit also. But, that is the line of business they are in.
