Just thinking that I would run this by the board.
Always looking for good pay charts on VP and they get scarcer each trip.
Specifically, including exact location directions:

Harrah's: Do they have any decent VP pay charts in any part of this casino? If so, How do I find them?

Eldorado: I like to play here but have only found decent pay charts at two of the bars. this limits me as I have to leave when smokers arrive within a few seats of me.

Silver Legacy: I never play VP here but they may have something I haven't found.

Circus: I found some interesting newer penny slots but no decent VP.

Oh yes, BTW, I play quarters. My wife plays nickles.

Thanks for any suggestions'

Any particular flavor? JoB, Deuces Wild, Bonus, etc.?

Forget about Harrah's. They just don't feel like they need to offer any decent vp anymore.

Are you aware of the vpFREE Reno group? I know that the Leg and El Dorado are up to date:

I just returned from the Sands, and not much there. I found some 9/6 JOB progressive bartops, but everything else was short pay.

thanks, Swede, I'll try to check out the link. I used to have it but lost it and don't have bookmark. We also have no internet service now.

My wife's surgery is limiting my time to chase down a connection.
She is doing fine after Thur surgery.

Any other ideas/suggestions are appreciated.

Actually I play many VP games if they are full pay and quarters.

I'm not certain if this is the 'right stuff' but the VP at the bar I was at in Silver Legacy was Jacks-or-better, and I spotted the critical 9/6 on the paytable. I'm not well-trained enough to guarantee that this was indeed full pay, but I seem to recall the 9/6 as the being the salient point.

This bar was in fact a new one - it's on the second floor, on the wide corridor that leads to the actual hotel rooms (which is very convenient for guests), and it's reasonably classy, and offers twenty-five cent denomination play.

It also has nice lounge seating, and is a decent upgrade from the generic slots area that used to occupy the space.

Another plus for the Silver Legacy - yee-ha! (Sorry, Alison)
Of course, I still won't touch their blackjack tables - Cal-Neva is much more my type of place, just as Shooters is much more the type of place for...uh, never mind.

9/6 Jacks or Better at quarter denomination are found at Circus Circus, Silver Legacy and Club Cal Neva downtown. Elsewhere, at Peppermill for sure and maybe Atlantis and Grand Sierra. I seem to recall seeing them while passing through the latter two properties, but I don't play at either extensively so I'm not certain.

To be considered full pay the machine must pay at least 4,000 credits for a royal flush with 5 credits played. Be sure to check that out because you will find some machines that pay the 9/6 ration but pay only 1,500 credits for the royal.

unfortunately, this is becoming common. That is why I posed the question. thanks for replies so far.

At Siena, the high roller area requires TEN dollars for full pay.
at only $5 you are offered the 1,500 for Royal Flush. that astounds me!

I think they are counting on our inattentiveness to the payout tables. I got caught at the new Peppermill sports bar. It took me a while to notice the poor payout for a royal with 5 coins in. Never thought I'd be saying this, but luckily I didn't hit a royal on that machine. I think those machines demand max play for full pay on a royal. That's like 25 quarters or dollars and 50 nickels or dimes.

Not true! The standard 4000 coin payout is at 5 coins...just hit "Bet 5" button on your first bet and "deal" on subsequent bets to repeat the five coin bet. I was playing full pay 9/6 JOB and 8/5 bonus poker...I worked my way up from $60 to about $280 by increasing the bet in five coin increments every $100 of credits on the meter. It's a great way to take advantage of a hot run. Laughing

Correct most of the time, but I can verify from personal experience that when you bet five credits at the Peppermill sports book bar, the royal flush payoff is only 1500, at least at the nickel level. And at the other bars in the casino you will get 4000 (at least for now - maybe they should hear some complaints about the short pay at the sports book bar, so they won't be encouraged to try it elsewhere.)

I didn't notice the nickel payouts...I was playing quarters only. I stand corrected!
