Nothing to speak of right now, maybe a few machines being moved from one spot to another. It looks like there is a small area over by the check-in/valet entry that will be opened up to the rest of the casino when it's ready, but that can be done without any major disruption to the rest of the room.

I was at the Peppermill earlier today, and no construction going on inside. They are putting glass on the new tower already....getting close.

I know, I a can't believe how fast it's all gone up either, yet whenever the state tries to construct or widen a new road it takes 10 years...LOL. They need to bring in workers that build hotel/casinos...LOL

I see they are taking reservations already for the new Tuscany tower. First date is December 15th.

Speaking of WOW! Erinin- yes I do. Shocked Very Happy

LOL, I see you like my avatar!

Hmmm, I haven't checked out the reservations. Has any one priced the rooms? My birthday is 12/20, it would be nice to make a visit to Reno during that time. Smile

What? I thought you were the queen of Harrah's

I am the queen of Harrahs, but the new rooms at the Peppermill are very tempting...LOL

Gee, look at all the little windows in this response!

I know it's the most action we've seen around here in awhile...LOL

Holy crap....you gonna be a hussy on this message board too???

LOL Cool

I have always been a downtown slummer....mainly at the Silver Legacy.

I have to admit....that webcam looked pretty cool.

I'd like to make a short notice trip in August....maybe it's time to give the Peppermill a try.

let it ride,
I think its time for you to give it a try. Smile

By the time all the construction is done, it will definetley be the premiere resort in Reno. I predict that the other hotels will have to make some changes to compete.

Alison

Hey Erin, well this time around I'm just going for a day to check out the mountain bike park, the skateboard park, the hiking trails, and I'm also gonna stop by the human resources office to rattle their cage about that web manager job I'm still in consideration for. From there, I'm going to Stateline just for an afternoon or so to get my play levels up at the casinos (EXCEPT MONTBLEU!) because nobody's sending any offers right now and I don't want to pay full rates for the upcoming season...Tahoe's rates are outrageous! Going to check out the damage from the wildfire too. The rest of the time is gonna be at the Peppermill and maybe the Atlantis (getting offers from them now too, and I only played $10 there last time!) I found out that my 150 points at Harrahs won't expire until August 1st so I'm making it in a nick of time to keep those going.

They already are, Ali. Atlantis has announced an expansion and the Nugget is renovating their tower rooms.
