Since Peppermill is undergoing construction and I need my beauty sleep I'm considering staying at Atlantis during our next trip.

Last time there we had a bad experience with our host, and I said I would never be back...LOL, but now I'm considering giving them another chance.

We used to only like to stay on the Concierge floors, but since we haven't played there in awhile, doubt I could get this comped up front. Have the other tower rooms been remodeled? The vivid tropical theme gave me a headache, and I didn't care for the cheap/fake bamboo furniture...has this changed?

Maybe yuo could request a room away from the construction. I did not hear any noise from the contruction when i was there on my last stay. The rooms are pretty sound proof though at the Pep.

We stayed there last September. We were in the Dolphin tower. The rooms were not large, but they were furnished with higher end furniture and molding.

Alison,

Ryder and someone else posted that they could hear construction from the suites that were being remodeled. I wouldn't want to risk getting there, then getting a crappy room. When I stayed there before I asked for a room away from the construction and when we got there we were looking directly out on it...LOL.

Thanks Reno Lady, I heard the Dolphin rooms are nicer, I just wondered if they still have the regular tower rooms with the "vivid" colors.

You wouldn't have to worry about any of this if you stayed at the Silver Legacy.

As always, I will defend the Silver Legacy. If nothing else, the location is the best in the downtown.

Interesting that the guys like the 'Leg, and the ladies think it blows chunks...what could possibly account for this sharp division??

Its ghetto!
The Eldorado and the Circus Circus are in the same proximety and they are much better then the silver legacy. Smile

But what, exactly, makes it "ghetto"? I could see comparing and contrasting with the Eldo, but for overall "ghetto", I'd have to vote for Circus, and that's mostly because of the crowd, not because of anything the casino is doing.

I just think that the rooms are horid there. I wont go into great details about anyhting else.

The bottom line is the women have better taste then the men. lol
