First Happy Birthday Jerry, I love your attitudte.
Now on the 4th, we got there early so we headed down to the Nugget and promptly ordered up two awful awful's had forgot about how good they were and any one wanting health, weight watching food has to have one!?!

Went to Doc Hollidays for one quick beer then back to check in to our room at Cal Neva, beside having to walk across the street, to their Casino I like being at this part of town, and their upper rooms have been improved. Went down to the Casino and played some V.P. at the Top Deck Bar by the Keno area. Played about ten minutes and a lady came in and played no more then five minutes and she hit a Royal. I was happy for her and know some day it will happen to me. Any way I played long enough to earn one of their 4 packs of Bud they advertise but didn't hit nothing to speak of.
Back to the room then we went down to SHOOTERS all I can say it was crowded and loud and had a good time. We wandered back to Club Cal Neva where we had parked on the East Parking Lot 8th floor to watch the fireworks, we could actually see them good from there.
When they were over the wife went back to the room while I was enticed to the Crap table where I did fairly good.

Next day we were going to see Sand Mountain but it was late so just took a liitle ride and back to use our free drink coupons we had from Sports bets. A few drinks and a little more V.P. again hitting nothing to write about.

Now is your chance to Laugh at me, being due to our work load I figure I won't be back till Sept. so I made a few future bets, so here they are and laugh your hearts out unless of course they win.

I bet the,

The White Sox to win the A.L.
The Whits Sox to win the World Series.
Bears to win the NFC North.
Dolphins to win the AFC East.
Cowboys to win the NFC East
Broncos to win over 10.
Jaguars to win over 9.
Ravens to win over 8.
Cardinals to win over 8.
Cowboys to win over 9 1/2.
Panthers to win NFC South.
Panthers to win NFC.
Panthers to win Super Bowl.

d51, enjoyed your report. Sept will be right around the corner. I know that I need a Reno fix. Even my wife is bugging me to go. Soon, we hope.
And thanks for the birthday wishes. It was a good one.
