After touting the features of junkets to colleagues, most of whom would probably not even qualify, I have been unable to come up with any actual junkets in a quick web search.
Does anyone have any idea who offers these things, if they still exist? I've seen the discount tours - for example, Lucky Tours in the Bay Area, has subsidized bus transport and lodging for attendees, in the hopes that they'll lose in the casino the extra money they saved by not going on their own - but I'm thinking of the classic junket, whereby someone vouches for your high bankrolls when gambling, and you get transport, room, and food for free.
Is it possible that the junket concept has been basically eliminated for all but the highest of rollers?
