Since it is pretty much every woman's (and man's - me thinks) most sacred desire to stay young looking, you must be thrilled when asked for your ID. Just make sure you have it with you when you hit the MegaBucks jackpot!
I have to confess, I didn't just guess your age. Back in 2009 I posted my 1985 Reno trip report and you responded . . .

A couple of pictures of me in there at the age of 31. I haven't changed a bit ... maybe. |
Yeah funny thing is I think I look old...lol....I live though when someone is my ages cards me and is totally surprised...
So I guess I can't give you credit for guessing my age then...I was gonna say damn your good! I do live all those old photos you posted...😀

If I was a door man or bartender I MIGHT CHECK a pretty lady's ID as well....for a different reason.

BUT today, many more IDs are "checked" in a data mining effort. Well, askin aint gettin.
When I am now asked for my ID , I sometimes just flash a few hundreds because what I KNOW is at some clubs they are not checking for 21 age, but actually try to scan your ID to enter it into a data base....for several uses...none of which is good for the customer.
Every day, there are stories of data base hacks....sometimes by an employee. And every thing needed to steal identity is in that data base. Don't even get me started on ancestry dot com.
SOME casinos not only want to scan your drivers license, but surreptitiously take your photo as well. I TRY my best to never take my ID out of my wallet because the "slot cub" worker will actually take a photo of your ID unless you object.
Sometimes when they demand possession of my ID, I will ask for the name, address and DOB of every employee that will have access to MINE. AND how many of those with access are foreign born and have a use for my info.
Sometimes that will get me refused ... and I'm OK with that.
Last trip, Harrah's asked for my SSAN before giving me a replacement club card. I refused before they gave me one anyway. So WHY ask?
Deactivate rant mode....

Now Alison....did you say my job was to bring the SPF 8 and a bottle of SPF 15 ? |
