Oh I feel seen with that comment about the escalator at SL. TOTALLY!

But here's mine:

Sitting at Roxy's with that first (of a "few") martini's, looking over the fountain. When I sit there, I just feel super relaxed and content. My friends say it's a noticeable sigh and my demeanor just rests.

Walking in that front door of the CalNeva is always a “Welcome Home Dave” moment for me. Then, tasting that first beer at anyone of those favourite bars (they are all my favourite) is that moment when I truly settle in and really know I’m there!

Ok have to add another. Last time we visited (soooo long ago it feels), I sat at the bar at Louis' Basque Corner (this is actually our first stop on most of our trips) and the bartender (who's name escapes me, but is always there) says, "Oh yea I remember you. You're here around the winter, like right after the new year. Oh, I remember you." and proceeds to talk about our last visit. Talk about a moment of "ahhhhhhhh".

But BC Dave, that beer at Cal Neva? I can taste that as well!
