The river is full. Check out the temporary camera to monitor the flood conditions.

The Truckee river has broken it's banks at Wingfield park. http://www.rgj.com/story/news/2017/01/08/flood-update-avalanche-and-flood-warnings-effect/96313564/
Geez, maybe they should have dug a river trench instead of the train thing.

Best list of affected areas with links to maps and closed roads & evacuated homes: (RGJ requires subscription after a few clicks)

KOLO (follow links in margins) : http://www.kolotv.com/content/news/Washoe-County-releases-list-of-evacuation-areas-410034015.html

USA today has a couple of dozen flood pics from around Reno most taken 09 JAN. after water started down. Lots of muddy residential streets in Sparks, Lemmon Valley & Toll Road South of Town near Geiger Grade @ South Virginia. Lots of those drainage ditches around town overflowed.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2017/01/10/northern-nevada-flood-damage/96384374/

There might be more in RGJ but I've used up my "free" clicks.

John....how about those drone pics?

The situation made national news, if you count the Internet as "National", which it sometimes sorta does.

One's heart goes out to anyone 'evacuated' due to flooding - it's not just the casinos, though I weep bitter tears for them as well.
