As on Feb. 5th the Bourbon Square Casino has closed. It will be redeveloped into multi-family housing. At the time I post this, the casino's website is still active and contains this news and other information.http://www.northernstarcasinos.com/bourbon-square-casino
I visited the casino briefly in March of last year. It was pretty quiet. |

Wow - already? I thought it would at least survive for a while, as it was the only other casino in Victorian Square besides the Nugget, and the Silver Club had been closed for such a long time. Well, glad I at least got the chance to sign up for a card, get an automatic tier upgrade, and a free hot dog during that one visit I had just after it opened. Oh yeah, and I even applied for a job there too - probably a blessing in disguise it didn't work out on that end.

Dang, that really sucks.
Not that it was a great place, it wasn't. But it was an option.
The few evenings I was in there, it seemed populated mostly by poor drunks slurping down cheap booze. I should know, I was one of them.
Too bad. |

I hated that casino like no other.
1) Bait and switch free play offers
2) Cheated me out of a 4ok on a bartop. Dealt 4OK ...held all 4, drew one but dealt two. Called keys immediately and told them the ID and position of the wrongly discarded card. Keys made me wait forever.... "OH...you're right. Why'd you discard that? "Machine Malfunction voids....."
Rude jerks too....F 'em
I very nearly sent a beer bottle thru their mirror. I Hate them I hope they die.
Cheated me out of $ 500-$ 800 because it had a spectacular 4OK Bonus feature. WHo knows what that MIGHT have turned up. |

We went in there couple times, the last time I walked up to a Devil
machine I've never seen before and put a 20 in it and it went in to
the bonus mode and I walked away with 400$+. So I will take the
blame for their closing! Not. |
