Not a single new post in December? Guess both John and BCDave are frozen inside of ice blocks by now....it'll take a lot of 7&7s at Cal-Neva to thaw 'em out...

Those 7s, they just don't blaze the way they did before!

Don't come up to Canada right now. We're in a deep freeze too! Even in balmy Vancouver.

Thanks for posting on our nearly frozen board Alison. Perhaps we can thaw it out. Your Avatar always brings the temperature up some!

It's so cold, the local travel agencies are booking tropical vacations in Antarctica.

It's so cold, the Obamacare web site is still frozen.

It's so cold, downtown pickpockets are putting their hands in strangers' pockets just to keep them warm.

I could go on, but it's too cold.

I actually had an icicle in my bathroom sink (not a joke). I'm too cheap to heat the back of the house.

Good luck on your trip, Zydeco. The casinos are normally warm. Find some hot slots.

I think the Reno Phil should make that concerto an annual tradition.

Like John, I keep part of the house unheated at night.

It's so cold, the bananas left in my Kitchen turned black overnight.

So cold I have a mailbox FULL of free room offers for Reno but I look at the web cams on the road down and see myself sitting behind a jack knifed semi for twelve hours.... so I don't use them. I even have three nights free at Siena including NYE... unused!

So cold, I thought my fridge might be broken since I never hear it anymore.

It's so cold......
