So it's Reno next weekend. Visiting KC brother, local non-gaming sister, degenerate comrade in gaming daughter, and husband R.

Two nights Harrahs. We were able to book Friday night comped for two rooms, but on-line wanted money for Saturday ($90) each room. Uh, no. Called host, she extended Saturday, both rooms, both comped. R is only Platinum. I told her we had the brother and sister, so needed two rooms, that we WERE going to be there Saturday night, and were booking with Circus, but I wanted to give her the opportunity to have us continue the stay with them, no problem, she says. Cool.

This is our first HET trip this year (or anyone else, for that matter), and we haven't stayed in Reno in some time. We usually do MLK January, and President's weekend in February, but they are traditionally losing trips, with crowds and ugly traffic, so we promised ourselves we would avoid that this year.

Using my comp tickets at Harrah's for brother and sister, Nathen Owens Mo-town, anyone seen it? Also, I want to use my buy one/get one buffet coupon for Friday night seafood buffet at Harrah's, for my brother/sister. Basically, 3 of us walk up, I buy two buffets using the Diamond line, and let them go in, and head out to the diamond lounge with daughter and husband. (I'm not a big fan of buffets, slows me down on the gambling). Hopefully the cashier won't freak out over the coupon holder not using it....

We'll game a little at Harrah's, but mostly I want to hit the outlying areas, Bonanza, Sierra maybe Atlantis, and also walk across the street to Cal Neva. Like most of you, we've found we can actually win at those properties. Rolling Eyes

More later...RL
