OOPS, sorry, another typo, faux paux, or whatever. I meant to say the Road to Reno.
Roads wonderful, sunny and dry on trip down on 16th (or whenever). No construction delays, or even cones, and thankfully no Flag persons.
But on way back: still none of the above including sunshine. took longer as much of it was driven at 45 MPH as there was a lot of ice on the road. About a 50 or better mile stretch out of Susanville. Then snow, heavy traffic, and general nastiness on Siskiyou Pass. A bit of rain enroute but roads not really bad overall. We tried to pick the best day for our return and it worked out OK. We returned on the 22d.

This time of year is chancy but lots of plows out and they do a good job of keeping 89 and 44 cleared when possible. Lots of snow on the roadsides however.
Also a lot of snow in Reno parking lots from a week before. Too cold to melt the big piles. Lots of traffic, too many shoppers. Much better to stay in the casino, warm dry and hydrated.

Another typo. I think you meant "heinedrated". Sorry you didn't do better, but at least we both won in the Fireside Lounge. Actually got good service for a change.

True, the Fireside is always a WIN-WIN because of the company even if the service sucks. Fun and special for me always.
