Ok OK , I'm late. I mean what can you say when you walk into the casino start playing and "lose" at everything you play. Having already made my mind up that this trip I would not play "chase my money", I decided to use a few of the coupons and comps I got in the mail. We stayed at Harrah's and they gave us one of the rooms with the balcony. I like it as you can go out there and sit right at sunset and it's pretty nice. Nicer yet for sleeping as you can leave the door cracked and actually get fresh breeze in your room (if the train doesn't bother you)...Had received an offer from the Silver Legacy of $20 comp food simply for turning in my aged player card and getting a new one. Got the $20 coupon and had lunch at the little seafood place (I think it's called Fairchilds"). My buddy had the Clam chowder they serve in a big bowl of real bread and I had seafood Jumbalaya. I have to give it 4 out of 5 stars. Very good. Played a little at the El dorado and looked up the one Cocktail waitress we know (Cindy) who has been there for about 22 years and still looks great. Then back to Harrah's as we felt obligated to play there since they comped evrything. (Why do we call it a comp when we actually paid quite a bit for everything if you cound losses. ..Guess "COMP" makes the loss sound a little better...) Had dinner at the Steak House on bottom floor. This place is a little noisy but first cabin all the way. Dinner for two with wine about $113. Again Couldn't win at craps and just try to find an open Blackjack table. They need to open more tables up. All three places (Harrah's , El Dorado and Silver Legacy had a minimum of tables. Makes it tough when you are ready to sit down. Went to bed early and decided to stop at Boomtown on way home early morning. One of our more brillaint moves. We each put $200 in the pot and played tag team blackjack. I was cold my friend was hot so he played. I went to the 50C machines and right away hit one for $350. IN an hour he had won back a portion of what we had lost downtown so it wasn't a bad trip back home. Stopped at Ikeda's at Forresthill turnoff (I-70) for one of their hamburgers for lunch. if you have never had one, you are missing conceiveably the best burger made in Northern Californai. That's it, Oh might go back up July 6-7-8. My wife informs me it's here turn to go now. Are there any $2 crap tables anywhere anymore? I need to find out if anyone can actually roll a 6 or an 8 five times out of fifteen
