Can't wait for the TR. Watcha gonna do at Mammoth since there's no snow...LOL?

Hey Erin, well this time around I'm just going for a day to check out the mountain bike park, the skateboard park, the hiking trails, and I'm also gonna stop by the human resources office to rattle their cage about that web manager job I'm still in consideration for. From there, I'm going to Stateline just for an afternoon or so to get my play levels up at the casinos (EXCEPT MONTBLEU!) because nobody's sending any offers right now and I don't want to pay full rates for the upcoming season...Tahoe's rates are outrageous! Going to check out the damage from the wildfire too. The rest of the time is gonna be at the Peppermill and maybe the Atlantis (getting offers from them now too, and I only played $10 there last time!) I found out that my 150 points at Harrahs won't expire until August 1st so I'm making it in a nick of time to keep those going.

Sounds like fun, but that's a long drive (3 hours?) for just a day trip.

Atlantis has the best offers going. We play there very little and always get good offers.

The Peppermill used to be the same way, but have really tightened up their offers/comps. I always get free slot tourney offers from Atlantis, yet Peppermill always wants some sort of entry fee.

I have to admit....that webcam looked pretty cool.

I'd like to make a short notice trip in August....maybe it's time to give the Peppermill a try.

Stay downtown, they don't want "slummers" like you at the Mill...LOL

Ya...I prolly will.

The person I thought might be fun to hang with at "the Mill" is most likely crappy company anyway.

LOL

are you refering to the Pep's tower? I am kinda confused by what you are saying.

"rumor has is that the new tower will not be open possibly 2 months ahead of time"

I had not heard that it was to open early?

I'm jealous Alison. I'm immersed in work this summer...even working some of my "days off". I could use a couple of days in Reno. Looks like I'll make it in the fall.

Hope you have a great time. Hope you drain all the slots you play. Have a drink at the fireside for me.

P.S. If you go to Shooter's make sure you have a big muscular guy with you, like John or Jerry.

P.P.S. We're still waiting for your spicy avatar.

P.P.P.S. A picture of a pepper shaker at the Peppermill does not qualify as a spicy Avatar!

Alison; Shooter's is right across Virginia Street from the Silver Legacy, next to Mcdonald's. You can't miss it. (And after you leave, you probably won't miss it!) Remember the burly bodyguards.

I'm available for a reasonable fee. Very reasonable. Like a couple of Heinekens.

Hey John, forget about the Heinekens. I'm getting a bottle of Absolut! Where'd you all say the closest liquor store to the Pep is? That place that was across the street, did it open back up?

48 something hours and counting...Shooter's awaits!

Yes, Ali, it's actually called Shooters. I don't know if it's because of the drinks they serve or the clientele they serve.

FG, the liquor store across the street from the Pep is now some kind of door or window shop. DeBell, I think. There's a 7-11 a couple blocks south of the Pep on Virginia Street, and I think that's the closest place to get some boooooze.
