coming back to Reno Apr 29 for 3 nites(fitz) I have heard of a SMOKING BAN(??) in Nevada!!(GO AWAY LIBERALS!!) so....what is the smoking situation like now?...I am a Cigar lover..anyone know of cigar friendly bars/casino areas?.......Still hoping to hear report on Millioniser machines..any big payouts??)..will report back..I go to Reno twcie a year...LOVE IT Shocked

You've probably re-opened a vitriolic can of worms on our humble board, but the smoking ban apparently doesn't apply *everywhere*. I believe gaming floors still allow smoking, and I suspect cigars are still allowed - last year, when I was up there for work, my boss smoked cigars while playing Pai-Gow, and I think that sort of thing is still kosher, at least for now!

Stan!! good to hear a report..I am satisfied if I can light up a cigar(Funete..Patargas..Torano please) at a bar..or lounge..as for on casino floor I have been told at Legacy(last year) that they are a NO NO at tables..but Hey as Long as Ican enjoy a good smoke with a Bombay Saphhire IM THERE!! Very Happy

Those smoking are conservatives, and the non smokers are liberals. Now I know who to discuss politics with in a casino. Are cigar smokers ultra conservatives?? Very Happy

Basically the new smoking ban has to do with where food is served. If food is served, there is a smoking ban. Each casino is interpreting the law a bit differently, so you just don't know, but you should be able to puff away at the gaming tables.

Just remember though, as you are enjoying your cigar, you are irritating many more-

But you still got your smoking rights.
