Has nobody on this board been to Reno since early August? This board is really starting to loose it's apeal. I look at this board daily, hoping for stories, trip reports, gambling tips, etc. but days go by and not even 1 report will come up.
As I am thinking of returning to Reno in December, I am very discouraged by what is happening.
Where is everyone? Where is the excitement.
The Las Vegas message boards are hopping all the time.

Marnie,
The Vegas boards are hopping cause Vegas and the Indian Casinos are SO much more exciting then Reno. They have better odds, the machines pay out more, people are WAY friendlier and most important it is much easier to win!
Just Joking there Folks! I don't mean a word of it. However great point Marnie. The board is a bit stale! I would love to post a trip report but I need to get back down there to do so! I was trying to plan a quick weekend trip in Sept. but I was amazed at how full all of the main casinos are this month. Lots of activities. My buddies and I are going down in March for sure but I really want to get away before then and bet on some football games. I love Reno in the fall. Heck I love Reno any time of the year!
Maybe John should mention that Jerry is trying a new promotion and he will pay the person that posts the best Reno trip report. Of course it has to be non-fiction!

At Visitreno.com, we're into quality, non quantity!
Let the Vegas robots cluck about their non-stop gaming losses; we prefer to enjoy the rustic authenticity of Reno, but we won't wave banners about it.
I guess we're lazier, too. |

I know what you mean. Not many reports lately. I am to blame though too. I never posted a trip report after my last trip. Nothing too exciting to write about though.

Heck.......our last trip was in July and it sure feels like we are do for a trip to Reno. However, business BS has been keeping us jumping and it is unlikely we can get away. We already have plans in motion for our annual New Years Eve trip. In fact I logged on the see if there is any information on New Years Eve 2007 entertainment posted. Gee's........I think this is our 15Th straight year for NYE in Reno. I have heard we may have a group numbering close to 50 for this years bash. (NO......nobody can keep this group organized or sober for that matter.) One of the puppy members of the group will be celebrating his 40Th Birthday on this trip..................like he will be able to remember.
Now I think about it.................I'm getting really rev'ed up for the next Reno adventure.
