I visit Reno for 5 days each March and have never made it to Tahoe. I'm all about the low limits and great rules gambling at the downtown properties and don't really know if the same type of value can be found in Stateline.

Is there anything out there to do or see for the low rolling gambler?

Stateline is a gorgeous spot and with it's four large casinos, is definitely worth a visit. I don't think I've ever played BlackJack there or any other table games. They have the usual assortment of slots in all denominations though. Harrah's top floor buffet offers incredible views and some pretty decent food - Ya gotta see this at least once!

Sounds awesome. Yeah I just don't want to drive an hour in the winter in Northern Nevada just to find a bunch of 6:5 blackjack or $25 minimums.

That's all you'll find at Harrahs, and probably at the rest!

That's all you'll find at Harrahs, and probably at the rest! Harrahs has a very nice hotel, 2 bathrooms in every room. But thats it!

I'm not sure what you'll find at the table games. That 6/5 business is pretty annoying. Spdmrcht is probably right about that. But, I'd still recommend the drive as it's a gorgeous spot with some pretty cool casinos. Is it worth driving on icy roads or through a winter storm to see it! No, it's not that good.

Go north to Incline Village. We made a stop at the Hyatt Grand Lodge, and the blackjack was 3:2. We were there during the day and the min was $10.

The video poker tables weren't horrible, either...

Also, continue on down the road to Crystal Bay. You will find 3:2 and 5-10 dollar minimums at the Crystal Bay Club. It's also a fun place.

Yes, there is Life with out Harrah's!! The only thing
Harrah's had going for them is the number of hotel's
and Location's, but then along came the Resort Fee's
and that ended it all!
