We arrive in Reno on Weds the 27th of July and stay for 7 or 8 nights. We have the room booked until the 3rd of august. We wanted to stay in July and August so we could overlap our offers. I got a july and aug offer for 3 nights in a Tuscany Room and $250.00 play for a total of $500 Free play. My host actually booked us not using the offers so we would not have to check out and in under each of our offers so that was nice of her. So all nights are comped in a Tuscany Patio Room. Smile The weds we arrive is 4X comp multiplier and the following Sun is a 7x comp multiplier day. I received in the mail yesterday another offer as well for the weekend of July 29th. it too included 3 nights and $250 in free play so now im up to $750 in free play. I guess there is a big car and cash giveaway that weekend. So im pretty stoked to be starting out with $750 of their money. Whoo Hooo! Hope to win big!

We also got an offer that gives us access to the VIP tent during HAN. Anyone know what the vip entails?

Wow! Can't believe you've never been to the Atlantis. It's the Peppermill's main rival on south Virginia St. It's a pretty big casino that's laid on in a cool Polynesian way. Don't miss the Sky Bridge with it's great Oyster/Fish bar. There's quite a number os slots up there too.

I'll second BC Dave's recommendation for the Skyway bar at the Atlantis. Easy walk from P Mill. My favorite is playing the bartops and ordering the California Roll or clam chowder at the Sky Terrace bar.

while playing and working my way thru the top shelf wines from great bartenders Tony, John or Missy. Slip them a couple of $ 2 bills and drop my name. AND say hi to Neil at the P Mill cube bar on day shift.

It's a great spot to watch the weather roll in and the parade of cars down Virginia. The only drawback is bar stools with machines tend to fill early and people rarely give them up. Live music at Cabaret Bar downstairs as evening comes...sometimes TWO bands.

Be sure to flash your rated P. Mill card when you get your Atlantis card. AND Atlantis comp points are view able from any machine.

Yeah i know hard to believe we have never been there considering how close it is. We considered walking BUT between drinking and the heat we may not. Lol

So what does showing our Pep card do for us exactly? We will be sure to check out that Skyway. I dont eat seafood of any kind but i still want to check it out. Im stoked they have a band playing too. Thats the one thing i miss about the pep. The live band in the gaming area. Having it over by the Tuscany tower just isnt that same. We really miss that so we are looking forward to it.

I know crazy we haven't been there. We haven't really left the Peppermill in the last 10 years or so. I am ready for some variety.

The Pep sent me another whopping $20 in free play for my B-day, bringing my free play total to $770. I hope to really do something good with that. Its the most i have ever had. Smile

I thought there was a casino in reno that would match your free play offer? Anyone know if that's still the case.

$770 in free play is fantastic. With a little luck you won't have to dip into your own cash at all. Side note - Somebody hit a million dollars at the Atlantis last night on a Wheel of Fortune machine.

The Siena USED to upgrade your new card rating by showing a high grade card from another casino. But that may have contributed to their failure.

As far as I know, the Atlantis does NOT start anyone at a VIP card level, but would not be shocked if they might note a High Roller card when getting your first Atlantis card. It never hurts to ask if they give a spiff to new card applicants with a high grade card from across the street. If you don't ask, you don't get. You can always ASK. Sometime they give some unearned free play.

I cannot keep track of the frequent do overs of the card system at the P Mill but a high grade card from the P Mill might get you a host earlier that the average new player...maybe not. THAT card game may have rules ....but they're secret. I play at so many joints, it's hard for me to keep a high rated card for very long.... they keep moving the goalposts.

I emailed their players club to ask them. I prefer to play at one place typically to get the better offers. I have so many offers for different things at the Pep that include $250 free play. I am hoping to get bumped up soon to the next free play level whatever that may be. I recall Erinsd getting something like $500 from the pep. I think that's who it was anyway. lol So we plan on just going to the Atlantis for a day to check it out. The Pep seems to suck us in and we never leave..Not this time. Gotta see what else is out there. Smile
