RTC Ride

Formerly Citifare, RTC Ride is the public transit service for the greater Reno/Sparks community provided by the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County, Nevada.

With a fleet of 65 buses serving more than 24 routes, Ride will take you where you need to be in a very reasonable timeframe. The cost is just $1.70 per trip with discounts for seniors, kids and the handicapped. They offer ticket books and bus passes at reduced rates and the Summer Youth Pass is available for youths from 6 to 18 years of age. This 10-ride pass allows kids the freedom to get around town all summer long.

In addition to their regular routes, Citifare also provides special bus service to the Balloon Races and offers free rides from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am on New Years Eve. You can even catch a bus between Reno and Carson City using the RTC Intercity service. Click here for the schedule.
